We need the ability to remove the numbers that are displayed when you hover on a slideshow. It’s very common that we want to put an image somewhere but we want it to auto crop to the container size. In those cases, we will use slideshows so we can manually or dynamically place an image somewhere and the image will be cropped inside the gallery. Unfortunately, since when you hover over the slider, the current slide number and total slides is shown. To avoid this we need to add a container box on top of the gallery to stop the hover effect from happening. This problem requires us to add unnecessary elements which adds complexity to the design for desktop and mobile. We need the ability to turn off the number from being displayed like you can with the arrows.
There is a feature request for this already and I hope other partners will vote for this and Wix will implement this soon.
