Thanks for your feedback Tim.

I agree with Tim. Works great but needs more customization. When I view the popup live on a site, it displays something like Times New Roman font (Chrome’s default) but when I inspect the element, the code shows HelveticaNeue. Perhaps if that were plain Helvetica/Arial/Verdana it might display correctly and look much better. Of course, inheriting from the body text (p1, p2, p3) would be optimal. A few tweaks and this app is gold!

@bestofdenis hi! Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s really helpful in the beta stage.
can you please share some more details like the website and the exact page that’s missing from the list?
I’m glad you found a workaround, but this sounds to me like something we’d like to address.

Hi Karen! Cheers to you from Arkansas!

I’m getting the same serif font displayed on desktop on both Chrome and Firefox. The mobile chrome version displays a sans serif font as it should. https://www.midsouthacademy.com

Thanks Del!
can you share what version of FireFox and Chrome you’re we using?

I have a question about linking this to a ‘use of cookies’ button in the footer. Is this possible or is it now not necessary? Thankyou

Hi Tanya!
can you elaborate on what exactly you’d like to do?

Of course Karen, with the dreaded ‘cookies bot’ app we added a button to the footer, this was ‘use of cookies’ as a text button. Once clicked it opened up the lightbox. My question is, if somebody visiting the site requires to refer back to the buttons, information or cookies settings can we create a link or is it actually not necessary?

Hi Tanya,
I’ve deleted the Cookie App, because it is simply not necessary. When the users accept the cookies, they won’t need the banner anymore. If they need to read about cookies after that, they will have to check the privacy policy.
And once they delete the browser history, the banner from Wix will show up again.

Could we have the ability to choose the pages it engages on please? On the Wix dashboard, custom dashboard pages it’s loading it everytime, some of my clients are getting annoyed by it.

Wow. Good feedback, yeah this should not show on internal dashboard pages.

Hey Tanya,

If a visitor wants to change the chosen cookie settings, he/she will need to delete the cookies saved on his/her browser (Clearing Wix Cookies from Your Browser | Help Center | Wix.com) . By deleting the cookies, he/she will see the banner when visiting your site again and will be able to choose new cookie preferences.
