Feature Release: Add a "My Subscriptions" Page

We’re back with a feature many of you have been asking for!

You can now have your clients easily view the product subscriptions they’ve purchased (both active and expired), in their personal “My Subscriptions” page.

The “My Subscriptions” page is part of your site’s Members Area .

Clients can sign up and log in using the Login Bar. Once logged in, clients can access their personal “My Subscription” page as seen below.

This feature has been released for both Pricing Plans and Wix Stores subscriptions.

Click on the links below for additional information.

Is this only for Pricing & Plans or Wix Store as well?

It should be for Wix Stores as well.

Wix Stores: About the “My Subscriptions” Page

Does this only work with Wix payment plans. I have a client using MindBody for clients to pay for subsciptions. I’m wondering if this feature would factor into a Members Only Page where paid subscribers would have access to a video library? - Does it have to go thru Wix payment plans ?

It doesn’t seem to have an option to cancel a subscription for Wix Store Product.

Hey Dante, have you tried the instructions listed here ?

This will work with any payment providers, as all the purchased subscriptions will appear on the page. The services showing on it are: pricing plans (both recurring and one time payment/free), product subscriptions (regular Store orders will appear on “My Orders” page) and recurring invoices.

There is a “Cancel” option for Pricing & Plans but not Wix Store Products. Just shows the plan details but no option or button to cancel the subscription. I am able to add the page successfully though. I know in Pricing & Plans you have to give the customer permission to manage the account themselves but there is not an option for this in the Wix Store product setup page.

Okay…but if clients sign-up in MindBody will this feature pick up the subscription dates? So members who sign-up for a year have access to the video library but will it expire and prompt resignup? Also how or does this work with membership page so videos are only visible to members…or does subscription app take care of that as the front end screen?

Thanks for letting us know. I’ll forward this information to the team.

@beargraphics it will not pick up subscription dates for Mindbody. If you’re looking additional subscription options in Wix Video you can vote for this feature here or use the recommend workaround within the request article.

  • Looks like there is no option for customer to update their payment info for an active subscription and has no way to change their shipping address.

I see there is a way to update the shipping address on the backend but there is also no option to update payment info for that subscription. Is this currently possible if let’s say card is expired or they want to use new card?

Unfortunately in order to effectively use the subscription option at scale, the following are essential core functionality items for Wix Store Product Subscriptions:

  • Cancel or pause the subscription.
  • Show a thumbnail of the product.
  • Update the payment info linked to subscription.
  • Update the shipping info linked to subscription.

Bonus Features:

  • Add multiple product subscriptions to cart with a single checkout.
  • Add additional default subscription frequencies like quarterly and custom option to select frequency for example: Every 8 weeks.
  • Allow customer to select a frequency on the product page.

Bug:

  • Payment info is not stored in “My Wallet” when you check out with product subscription. There doesn’t seem to be option for this.

Hope this helps!

Afraid I’m missing something…it apoears that the video page restricted access …your suggesting I load Wix membership/payment plans which throws this off since they are paying at Mindbody. If I just do password protect/member login for video page anyway to link that to a closed fb group they use ? That way I avoid the wix payment plan scheme…which they don’t need

Dante, thank you for your feedback! I have forwarded it to our product manager.

We also need to offer customers an option to RENEW their subscription to a product. That’s what I need ASAP!

@annamskates thank you for your feedback, as I mentioned in the other post, it’s been noted.
