Feature Release: Creating Custom Roles for Your Site

You can now create custom roles when collaborating with others on your site.

That’s right! You now have the ability to create roles tailored to your exact needs. Select the permissions based on the areas you need help with, then invite someone to fill in that role or assign it to an existing contributor.

Amazing. Love this. Any update on when permissions to manage client’s domains? Makes the transfer process super laborious. I end up needing to ask them for their personal Wix Account email and login in order to finish connecting their domain. Seems like a bigger security risk, then if I just had permission to manage (or connect) their domain via my account.

A great feature that we already implemented. I noticed though that the custom role I created on one client site is now available across all client sites. This will create confusion for clients who need different permissions and roles. Is this a bug on my end or something that can be updated so custom roles are specific to each site?
