Round Table: What's Next for the Wix App Discussion

Today we announced two different apps: The Wix Owner app, and the Wix Spaces app. We focused on going over all of the new features of the Wix Owner app.

Main Changes to the new app, the Wix Owner:
-Manage from dashboard
-See overview of your business
-View your Site
-Message with Inbox
-Customize mobile space + Invite members

Spaces by Wix App, dedicated app for members:
-Same app experience for members
-Members can shop, read blog posts, book services, join discussions
-New name, fresh look and feel

Hi, looks promising since the app members part was never really used by my clients. The Android Beta link does not seem to be working

It only works in specific regions for now, ie, Australia Canada and United Kingdom
You can use a VPN to download the app, and then continue to use it from anywhere!

Great new updates! As mentioned in the Q&A happy to discuss how the Partner Dashboard could be implemented into the app. Would be great to access invoices/quotes, but more importantly marketplace leads would be a total game changer

Hello,

I’m pretty disappointed by the announcements made regarding the wix app. Despite a few nice UI/function improvement to bette manage the business from the app, i couldn’t see any WOW features, especially when it comes to the member app. In my eyes, it remains blury how this section will be developed as there is no agenda, no clear answer about if there will be a branded app or not, or new integration capacities.
I hope i’m wrong but i was waiting more than that

I didn’t have that issue - are you still getting the code error? You should just be able to download test flight + use the link.

So I have a lo t of restaurant customers that use the current(old app) with restaurant limited permissions. When they update the app does it update to WIX Spaces or WIX Owner? Need to know if I have to get them to anything?

When I did the update on my phone it did it to spaces.

There is delay with notifications some times on the owners app

There are two different apps: spaces and owner. They will want to download the owner app.

Yes; the app will
Eventually update and be called WIX Spaces.
