Switch Your Client’s Wix Restaurants Payment Solution

The Wix Restaurants payment system is joining the general Wix payment system. This means your clients will be able to accept more payment providers and manage them all in one place. You will soon receive an email from wix-team@notifications.wix.com with a list of Wix Restaurants sites that are eligible for migration.

How do I make the switch?

  1. Keep an eye out for an email with a list of Wix Restaurant sites that can be migrated.

  2. Click on each client site to disconnect the old Wix Restaurant payment system. (Important: If you are not the owner of the site, coordinate with your client in order to connect a new payment solution before clicking on the migration link)

  3. Immediately reconnect your clients’ preferred payment providers under Settings, Accept Payments.

Is authorize.net still a supported payment option for restaurants?

Is this mandatory to do?

I am having trouble doing this. How do I connect someone that is already setup under STRIPE account. I have the secret key etc. Is there any step by step info on this. Thanks

@sheyla Thanks but for some reason it asks me to go the WIX restaurant settings tab. I know I have to turn this off but as you mentioned above Click on each client site to disconnect the old Wix Restaurant payment system… but how do I do that?

Also when connecting STRIPE I had to connect via the Secret Key…is that still the same way cause it looks like it’s asking me to login? A

@info72 that’s referring to an email you will receive with a link of eligible sites that you can switch over.

For now, you can make the change from your payment settings in Wix Restaurants as noted in the screenshot you provided :slight_smile:

Hmmm…I think I may need to have a call about this cause I don’t quite understand. I did receive an email of a list of clients to switch over and the one I am trying to do is showing me that message.

Gotcha - request a callback with our customer care team through your partner dashboard and they will guide you through it :slight_smile:
