Moving an existing domain to a new WIX site-SEO effects

Hi guys!
I wanted to ask a simple question regarding SEO. I have an existing WIX site (built with the Editor) which is connected to a domain. I am thinking about creating a NEW wix site using ADI and connecting the new site to the current domain, thus replacing the old site with the new one. Do any of you know if, and how- that will effect my SEO ranking for the website? will the SEO of the old Editor site be transferred to the new ADI site?
thanks!

Hi Dan!

You can set up 301 redirects to preserve your SEO settings  Here are instructions on how to accomplish this:

thanks.
that did not exactly answer my question.
I’ll try to explain.
I have a premium wix site which is connected to a domain. I am considering buying a NEW wix site, upgrading it to premium, and connecting it to the SAME domain(i.e same address). The new corresponding pages in the new site will have the SAME URL as the old site.
Will this result in retaining SEO ranking or do I still need 301’s?

@markapreston - This may be a great article to write too!

Keep the same URL structure and assuming you have optimized your new site, you should retain the SEO value.
