Subscribers who get discounts on products...?

Hi all. I’m looking for advice on how to set up the membership/ecommerce side of this. I generally handle clients with either a very simple ecommerce part of their business or who just sell services, this has become a bit bigger and out of my wheelhouse. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

The client has 4 productized services (not free) , and 4 free online tools . He wants to be able to use one tool as a lead magnet/to let people experience the value of what he’s offering, and for people to either become a site member (growing the potential member base) for free or to subscribe to a monthly paid subscription to get heavy discounts on the products.

So to be clear:

Any site visitor can:

  • buy the 4 productized services full price
  • use the Lite version of ClearPlan

Signing up to become a site member for free:

  • buy the 4 productized services full price
  • use ALL 4 tools

Becoming a member and paying a monthly subscription:

  • discounts on all 4 productized services
  • use all 4 tools with additional unlocked features in ClearClaim

My question:

How do you advise we handle the discounts available to the paid subscriber? (for example… Can unique codes be generated per site member for their use only? How do we ensure people cannot sign up for one month of paid subscription, cancel their subscription, and continue to use the same discount code for months to come?)

Wow…that’s a lot of ins and outs! As far as the discount/coupon codes, you can set them with an expiration date and also set how many times each one can be used. Your client can generate one code per month and send it to all active subscribers.

Yeah, I thought maybe 1 code per month would be ideal. Thanks for chiming in, Artio.
