Website Width - iPad vs Desktop

I’ve noticed on a lot of the Wix Partner videos that many websites are designed outside of the recommended width. If viewing on a regular desktop computer, I’d imagine it looks just fine. However, since iPad’s now view desktop versions of websites, I see that these sites would now be cutoff.

Is there talks of widening these? If not, is there a recommended width outside of the recommended lines? What are most of you doing? Designing within the lines or go outside?

Always in line because wix original editor cannot move dynamically. Please try using “Pin to Screen” to show element property outside of line

You can also move to editorx, or add a code to tell user that they have to switch to larger screen for better user experience if their broswer is smaller than a specific width/height.

Hi RD Designs,

You can use Repeaters and/or Strips in full width and place the elements in them. They are relatively dynamic.

Yeah, they just don’t offer the space I’m looking for… some items they work great for though…
