Easier product exclusions. I should be able to add or remove a product from being applicable to a coupon more easily. Right now, to exclude one product, I believe I have to add all products to a collection and make sure I remove that one product and these collections for each coupon if the exclusions are different. Its super annoying and I haven’t been able to test this yet. It would also be nice if clicking that an items is excluded it automatically added a disclaimer to the product and coupon.

There are many other coupon types that would be great to add and also product specific discounts that are automatic would be great too…like buy 4 get 5th free or buy 2 get third 50% off…this can be order specific or item specific. for order this would be a normal coupon. if its item or collection maybe this could be managed under the setting for those specifically

Hello,

I have three suggestions:

  • Set up coupons as gift voucher. Let’s say i want to reward a member but i don’t sell anything. Le’ts then create a gift voucher without linking it to a product

  • In line with the first point, make coupons/gift voucher more visible. Actually members have no clue about what they can get.

  • Add coupons/gift vouchers in automations. When member has completed a challenge, send him a coupon.

Wix has created nice feature to engage a community but it is still missing a few solutions to make it event more attractive.

Hope that helps!

Best regards

PS: just saw the original message was from march 2019…:joy:. Anything changed since this? My recommandations remains actual anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you for your feedback!

I have a client that “loves” the idea of being able to give her customers a coupon code that they can physically enter at checkout BUT she would like more flexibility i.e. she would like to be able to EXCLUDE certain categories.

@stevenjose I completely agree. Being able to exclude items from a coupon is VERY important!

So, I created a coupon to be used by the winner of an auction in which I offered one of my subscription products. When she tried to use the coupon during checkout, she kept getting error messages (this hasn’t happened to any customer NOT using a coupon so I’m assuming this is the issue). I tested it and the same thing was happening to me. The checkout system registers the coupon but then when you click “complete purchase,” an error message pops up. HELP!

Hi Anna, have you tried reaching out to customer care so they can have a look?

Hello,

I see that this is now possible to send a coupon after having completed a program or a booking :grinning:, which was one of my request.
I see that it’s also possible to turn a standard coupon into a unique one by adding a random range of number, that’s awesome as it prevent leaks of the coupon

In line with this, that would be great to have the possibility to add a list of code that could be one by one distributed through the automation.

Very helpful when not only working with your own shop but also working but partners, retails and and other 1/3 parties.

Thanks again for this improvement and keep up the good job !

I wonder if there is a way to limit a coupon to a period of time after it was sent as an automation.
The use case is:
Submitting a subscription form.
Getting an automated mail with a personal, (one use for each contact) coupon, to use within 36 hours.
The coupon does not have an end time, as the counting starts only when triggered. The only way I can think of is getting an email notification after 36 hours to remind me to deactivate the coupon…

Is there a better way?

Thanks
