What the Partner Community Is Doing to Grow During Uncertain Times

I’m sure many of you can relate when I say the current circumstances have caused a shift in our day to day lives. Whether it’s the way we shop for essentials, how we manage our current work life, or how we run our business, these times have brought about slight uncertainty. During last week’s happy hour, we sat down with a group of Partners to discuss how they’re sustaining growth for themselves and their business during these uncertain times. Within this article I’ll be highlighting some of the responses that were shared within the conversation, responses that are essential to both personal and business growth.

With the current state of our economy, what steps are you taking to market your business?

Here’s what our Partners had to say.

Maresa Friedman:

What people want is information and a space to talk. Provide your clients with a week (or 2) of free roundtables on topics such as:

  • Understanding how to deliver things virtually.

  • How to provide messaging.

Additionally, you may want to reach out to current businesses that are open to see how you can help with marketing.

Jeffrey Shaw:

Businesses that invested into their growth during challenging times such as 9/11 or the Great Recession, came out so much healthier on the other side. I’ve been encouraging people to continue to invest into their business. Additionally, I encourage people to work on their business more than in it. What steps are you taking to maintain your current clients, and generate new leads?

Here’s what our Partners had to say.

David McGlennen:

If you have private virtual groups, open it up and create a public session. By making yourself available to your viewers, by giving back to the community and showing clients that you’re for them, you’re creating new opportunities and gaining new clients.

Code Queen Nayeli:

After reminiscing on my beginnings with Wix, and remembering how I got started, I decided to open up a free webinar to anyone that wanted to join. I am now teaching them web design 101, how to work from home, and how to bring in some form of income home to their families. It’s important to get back to your community and open up your doors.
