Waited over a year since I move into Editor X when open for beta user. Great, you had keep your promise even lone delayed but better than no news, Cheers!
something weâve all been waiting for Unfortunately, I have the same problem as the user above me. I cannot add Multilingual. When searching for the Multilingual app, it tells me itâs currently unavailable for Editor X. Iâm based in Austria (central Europe). Does this feature roll out later in Europe?!?
Yes, I got the multi-lingual option, and can be added to my premium site www.FloraBtoA.com. I have tried it and is OK but reverse back, as I am going to do the mobile pages first in English and transaction online shop too before I go into the next language Chinese. As I am waiting for a Huawei smartwatch that is coming out soon that provides High Blood measurements around clock.
Set Up Your Site
oh this is cool. I have currently a site with premium plan for standard editor. When I choose to publish with X editor I am asked to upgrade the plan for Editor X. Does this mean that my premium plan on standard editor is automatically cancelled or am I paying two plans? (I should thus cancel the premium plan from the standard editor?). Also how does this affect my points as collaborator within the standard editor @brett Thank you, Olivier
I am all signed up for the Editor X Partnership Program. It states that Editor X - Multilingual is now available for BETA. When I follow the steps below, there is no âMultilingual Elementâ available. I have also been signed up to allow my account to be part of the Beta program. Does anyone have any insight as to how I can add the beta version of multilingual on editor X? I need this up and running on my site before the end of October.
First of all, you must have a main language set for your website say ENGLISH text.
Second, I developed all the pages in English Pages OK,
Third, I turn on Multi-lingual Beta and Editor X platform will generate the second languages I have chosen, for example, I selected the Chinese Simplify for Main Land China. I got all the pages translated into the Chinese Language with another set of web pages by their server machine/computer power. For cultural reasons, these translated pages in Chinese may have some error in our actual meaning in Chinese, a human translation correction is needed for I say 10%. The new language should be looked ok in the new language.
After my initial test on the release of the beta version earlier this year, I just remove it since my current Website in English is not complete especially for mobile screens. Also to buy sometime time for them to improve further.
As I had done prototype under wix.com old platform with three languages, English, Chinese, and Tamil. Tested the Editor X look similar. I am confident WIX Editor X can do it better later.
The multilingual feature under add element is not an option under editor x under my account as of 10/5/2021. I believe this is supposed to be available to all beta users as of last week.
December 9th edit : I have access as of this morning! After a few backs and forth with support and a push from my account manager, I was finally told that my account was indeed eligible to use Multilingual, and it is now available in Editor X under tools. However, it can only be added to websites we own and not ones where weâre contributors. Support says the full release is planned for next week, though - fingers crossed.
Hi, I am desperate for this feature, and although I see recent beta releases in my account, I still cannot access multilingual. Support has been able to replicate the issue (once found in the app store, I get a message saying that multilingual is not available in Editor X). Upon further investigation, and after promises of quick resolution, I am now given a generic answer that beta is not released on Editor X; when it clearly is for beta users⌠I am also a Wix partner. I am getting really frustrated and on the verge of losing a client whom I promised multilingual to. Can I get some help please?
Hi Ann, yes I am in the same situation. Support answered that it should be available within 1 or 2 weeks. That was 10 days ago. Hopefully they keep word.
